Document Protector is a document scanning and storage application provided by Omega Broadcast Private Limited ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information.
Document Protector is designed to store scanned documents locally on your device. We do not collect, upload, or store the documents you scan on our servers.
The app may request access to your device camera so that you can scan documents. If you choose to import existing documents or images, the app may request access to the relevant photo or file-selection features provided by iOS.
Documents and scans are used only to provide the app's document scanning, viewing, organization, and local storage features. Document contents are not transmitted to us for storage or processing.
Documents created or imported through the app are stored locally within the app's storage on your device. If you delete the app or otherwise remove its local data, documents stored only in the app may no longer be recoverable. We do not maintain a server-side copy of your documents.
Camera access is used only when you choose to scan a document. Photo or file access is used only when you choose to import content. You can control these permissions in iOS Settings.
We do not sell your documents or personal information. Document Protector does not send scanned document contents to third parties for advertising or analytics. If a future version introduces a third-party service or changes how information is handled, this Privacy Policy and the App Store privacy information will be updated before or when the relevant feature is introduced.
Because documents are stored locally, their protection also depends on the security of your device, including its passcode and iOS security settings.
We do not retain copies of your scanned documents on our servers. You can delete documents from within the app. Documents stored locally may also be removed when the app and its local data are deleted from your device.
Document Protector is not directed specifically to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app's features or data practices change. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
